Our Philosophy
The name "Sliding Scale" comes from medicine. When a doctor treats a patient, they don't prescribe the same treatment to everyone. They assess the patient's condition and adjust the dosage accordingly—a sliding scale based on need.
We apply the same principle to technology. A pre-seed startup needs a completely different approach than a Series A company scaling to thousands of users. Building too much too early is just as dangerous as building too little too late.
Most development agencies treat every project the same: build everything you ask for, charge by the hour, and move on. We're different. We act as product partners, not just code factories.
